John is a results-oriented leader, within the programmatic, and the digital media/marketing space. With over 12 years of experience in the industry, he has been apart of many projects that have advanced client marketing, company strategy, and digital automation tactics. He is a Sr. Programmatic Trading Lead at Xaxis/GroupM Nexus. Group Nexus is the a leading advanced media tech company within WPP. John is also pursuing his MBA at JHU, while he continues to push forward on understanding the best business practices, and excellence in strategic knowledge, not only from global business leaders in the business, but those who are creating the next tech and strategy network in our world.
John is a passionate about advancing transparency, quality, and performance in programmatic media transactions across the supply and demand side. He has contributed to the migration of direct-to-programmatic buying for large corporations, the adoption of private marketplace as a primary means of activation, and the creation and management of MediaMath's Curated Marketplace (aka Source), a fraud-free, high-performance supply source. John is currently responsible for team culture and development, programmatic excellence within, his team remit, client success - programmatic trading, and product enhancements at Xaxis, supporting Wavemaker clients. These are company clients across a variety of industries, such as CPGs, financial services, fintech, general consumer services, entertainment and pharma. John leverages his omni-channel programmatic expertise, via leadership and hiring initiatives, to ensure that teams are staffed, ready to be apart of a team, and further, enforce our programmatic requirements. He has never lacked certification across industry standards, as someone whose worked at both publisher side and demand-side tech platforms.
